Reebok spent last week changing nameplates as after nearly ten years with the company, Bob Munroe, president of Reebok USA, decided to leave. Shortly before news of Munroe’s departure broke, Reebok appointed Glen Giovanucci as VP of sales for the Sports Licensed division.  Giovanucci, who has been with Reebok since 2003, will be responsible for driving all SLD sales.   He was previously with Puma.

On the topic of Munroe’s departure, Reebok said in a statement that current business conditions and the changing U.S. retail landscape have resulted in the reorganization of the Reebok brand’s U.S. sales team.  David Kahan, who joined the brand in 2002 and is currently the SVP of sales for Reebok USA, will work closely with President and CEO Paul Harrington to transition the organization over the next few months though specific details have not yet been finalized.
