Authentic Brands Group (Authentic) has appointed Daniel Schachne, who most recently served as general manager of Jordan Brand’s performance sport business in North America, as SVP of Reebok.
Schachne led the Jordan Brand’s basketball business in the U.S. and drove strategic expansion across golf and the Jordan Brand’s cleated business.
In his new role at Authentic, Schachne will lead Reebok’s global growth strategy, working closely with licensing partners, retailers and brand ambassadors to sharpen its global focus on sport and culture.
He will work alongside Steve Robaire, global EVP of Reebok, to drive Reebok’s growth.
“Daniel has built winning models in basketball and performance sport at some of the world’s top brands,” said Robar. “His category expertise and hands-on leadership make him the right person to scale Reebok’s next chapter and unlock new opportunities for the brand globally.”
Schachne said, “Reebok is rooted in sport, and that foundation is what continues to make the brand so powerful today. I’ve spent my career at the intersection of sport and culture, and I’m excited for the opportunity to grow the Reebok brand globally. Together, with the Authentic team and our partners, we’ll lean into Reebok’s heritage and deliver products and stories that matter to consumers everywhere.”
