Mr. Howard Katkov, President and CEO of Red Mountain Ventures Inc., announced changes to the senior management team at Red Resort. Mr. Jim Greene has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Red Resort Properties Ltd. Mr. Greene will continue in his current capacity of Vice President of Resort Operations for the 2006/07-ski season, during which time he will transition with his replacement, Mr. Erik Kalacis, currently Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Red Resort.

Jim’s passion and commitment to mountain living, Red Resort and Rossland will serve him well in his next critically important role for the company He will be directly responsible for selling over $40 million of Red Resort real estate projects over the next 18 months and will play a key role in the strategic planning of the rollout of the master plan.”

Mr. Erik Kalacis recently joined Red Resort as Vice President of Sales and Marketing from Grouse Mountain in Vancouver, British Columbia. Mr. Kalacis will be taking on the additional responsibilities of Retail and Rental, Snowsports, and Food and Beverage at Red Resort for the coming season and will be assuming direction of Resort Operations for the 2007/08 season. Said Kalacis, “I am thrilled about my new role and I will make sure that my leadership enhances the mountain experience while maintaining the heritage of Red Mountain. I look forward to working with the staff and the community to continue expanding on Red’s long history of skiing excellence.”

Red Resort is entering the second year of a multi-year build-out of its base area that will see over 1,400 units of residential real estate added through a comprehensive resort master plan. Red Resort Properties Ltd. will be the sales arm for these new units. Red Resort Properties is marketing the Slalom Creek project, a 67-unit slopeside condominium development currently under construction, with the first delivery of units scheduled for February 2007. In addition, the 18-unit Morningstar project and the 18-unit Ironhorse project are scheduled to begin construction later this year.
