Igloo Products Corp. has voluntarily recalled about 7,200 coolers because sharp latch edges could cut consumers, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Wednesday. The agency said Igloo received eight reports of consumers getting cuts that required stitches on the legs or arms.

The CPSC said consumers should stop using the coolers and contact Igloo to get a free latch replacement kit. The recall covers Igloo Marine Elite Coolers, which are white in color and have sharp edges on the stainless steel latch attached to the cooler, the CPSC said.

They come in four sizes from 72-quart to 162-quart and ranged in price from $80 to $375. They were sold nationwide at West Marine (nasdaq: WMAR – news – people ) stores from January until July, the CPSC said.

The coolers were made in the United States, but the latches were made in China, according to the safety agency.
