The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Modell's Sporting Goods, is recalling about 130 Coral Swim 'N Score Pool Stixs. The sticks were recalled because children can fall or land on them in shallow water and get injured. No incidents have been reported.

The product was manufactured in Taiwan by ERO Industries of Mount Prospect, IL, which is no longer in business. The sticks were sold at Modell's Sporting Goods stores around the country between August 1999 and October 2008.
 
The recalled Pool Stix are weighted plastic tubes, which stand upright when tossed into water. The sticks are about 8″ long and were sold in packs of 6 in various colors. For additional information, contact Modell's.
