Scott USA Inc. of Salt Lake City has recalled about 1,450 Vanish Evo Bicycle Helmets because they do not comply with the impact requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Scott is advising consumers to immediately stop using the bicycle helmet and take it to an authorized Scott dealer for a refund of the purchase price even though it is not aware of any incidents or injuries related to the issue.
The helmets were manufactured in China and sold by authorized Scott dealers nationwide from July 2014 through December 2014 for about $200.
