In response to its continued growth and success in the athletic market, Rack Room Shoes announced Frank Fanelli as the companys second athletic footwear buyer. In this role, Fanelli is charged with formulating strategic assortments of mens leading athletic brands in nearly 400 stores nationwide.
Fanelli will report to Terry Apple, senior vice president and general merchandise manager for Rack Room Shoes.
From working face-to-face with customers at the store level to driving sales as a retail executive, Frank brings a wealth of industry knowledge and understanding to our team, said Terry Apple. His extensive experience will help grow our already strong athletic division and make him an invaluable asset to the company.
Fanelli joins Rack Room Shoes with more than 25 years of experience in the retail footwear business. Fanelli most recently served as the Divisional Merchandise Manager for Dicks Sporting Goods, after joining the company as a Buyer for Mens Footwear.
Prior to his career with Dicks Sporting Goods, Fanelli was a Mens Buyer and then a Senior Womens Buyer for Footaction USA.
