Rack Room Shoes and Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse, sister companies owned by Germany-based shoe retailer The Deichmann Group, added two new hires to its corporate team. Julie Barr and Kim Auman-Fanning joined the company as human resources director and loss prevention director, respectively.

Barr succeeded Susan Winstead as human resources director, bringing 15 years of experience in human resources. Winsted retired after 24 years of service.

Barr’s most recent assignment was vice president of human resources for Bank of America Merchant Services. Barr is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, and a graduate of the University of Phoenix, with a Masters degree in Business Administration. She also holds the designations of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and Senior Human Resources Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Auman-Fanning succeeded Johnny Turner as loss prevention director and brings three decades of experience in loss prevention. Turner retired after 35 years of service.

Auman-Fanning’s most recent assignment, since 1995, was loss prevention director for Belk (Northern Division). She is a graduate of Western Carolina University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
