Puma plans to open a logistics center measuring 440,000 square feet in Vendenheim, France, to support growth in the country.
ID Logistics stated that for almost ten years, it has been supporting Puma’s logistics in Landersheim. Operations began to shift to the new site in Vendenheim on November 3, with the full transfer scheduled for the beginning of 2026.
Régis Oberle, head of operations for France, Puma, stated, “This site illustrates our commitment to developing more environmentally friendly logistics and helps to make our activity compatible with our ambitions in terms of social and environmental responsibility.”
At the Vendenheim logistics center, 70,000 bins and nearly 100 robots will enhance storage density, enabling faster, more reliable, and ergonomic order picking. The Reflex WMS, integrated with Puma’s SAP ERP, provides real-time traceability and visibility.
Eric Hemar, chairman of ID Logistics, said, “With the new site in Vendenheim, we are taking a major step forward in our partnership with Puma. By combining the Autostore and a cutting-edge technology ecosystem, we are participating in a more agile, sustainable and future-oriented supply chain.”
