Puma announced that Spanish midfielder David Silva, known as “El Mago” (the magician), has signed with Puma Football. He had been with Adidas.

Silva scored 35 goals for Spain’s national team in 124 appearances.

At club level with Manchester since 2010, Silva has scored 50 goals and achieved 77 assists in more than 250 appearances, lifting the top flight’s trophy three times.

“I was already wearing Puma football boots when I was a kid, and I am looking forward to wearing the brand again. Some peopIe call me El Mago, so for my next trick I’ll be wearing Puma One,” said Silva.

Silva will be wearing the Puma One. With the signing of Silva, Puma Football adds another star player to its roster, following announcements earlier this year of partnerships with players such as Luis Suarez and Romelu Lukaku.
