Puma ended its endorsement deal with Aaron Hernandez after the former New England Patriot's tight end on Wednesday was arrested on murder charges.

In April, Puma announced a two-year contract with Hernandez to become a face of the brand’s training category. It later signed a contract with Tennessee wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson, who was picked by the Minnesota Vikings with the 29th pick in the NFL draft, to also support the category.

Hernandez was dropped by CytoSport last week before he was arrested.
