PT Motion Works, parent company of Gibbon, ElliptiGo, and Indo Board, today announced the appointment of Jordan Judd as chief executive officer (CEO).

“Grounded in the belief that lifestyle is a core driver of long-term health, PT Motion Works brings together a portfolio of brands designed to help people move better, perform better, and stay active throughout every stage of life,” the company said in a media release. “PT Motion Works is positioned to lead this shift through its portfolio of established, market-leading brands, with Judd’s appointment further advancing the company’s vision as it scales its brands across new channels and international markets.”

In his new role, Judd is expected to lead the company’s long-term strategy and continued expansion, overseeing growth initiatives across the portfolio and guiding the development of its brands.

Judd reportedly brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience across the sporting goods and active lifestyle industries. Most recently he served as president and general manager of the Outdoor Performance division of Revelyst, where he led a portfolio of brands including Simms, Bushnell, Camp Chef, Stone Glacier and Blackhawk. Prior, he held leadership roles at Amer Sports including president of Salomon Americas.

“I’ve spent my career working with brands and products that help people live healthy, active lives, and PT Motion Works is an exciting opportunity to take that mission further,” offered Judd. “This company and its products truly make an impact in people’s lives by helping them to live better and perform better, longer. I’m excited to partner with the amazing team here to help build on the strength of these brands and bring their products to more people, in more markets and through more channels.”

PT Motion Works said Judd’s appointment marks the next phase of growth as the company continues to expand its portfolio, distribution and reach across the balance, movement and active lifestyle categories.

Bryan Pate, who co-founded the company in 2007 and has led it ever since, will transition to the role of executive chairman, supporting the company’s continued expansion into new product categories.

“PT Motion Works has built a strong foundation of brands focused on enabling people to live as well as they can for as long as they can. We see a huge opportunity to continue our growth trajectory and Jordan brings the leadership and industry expertise to help us capitalize on the opportunity ahead,” Pate commented. “His experience scaling businesses and driving operational performance, particularly in a multi-brand environment, will be invaluable as we continue to grow our brands and reach more people.”

Under Pate’s leadership, PT Motion Works was recognized on the Inc. 5000 for the second consecutive year, ranking among the Top 500 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. with a three-year growth rate of 691 percent.
