Pro-Tec Athletics resigned Ultra Marathon Champion and best-selling author Scott Jurek for two more years.
Jurek has been raising awareness to the brand as a member of Pro-Tec’s team of professional athletes for over seven years. As a professional athlete, Jurek has utilized the Pro-Tec line in assisting him to perform at his highest level of athleticism. He has experienced several common running injuries throughout his career, and personally seen the benefits the Pro-Tec product line has to offer.
Pro-Tec Athletics is proud to announce some of Jurek’s many achievements:
- 7 time record holder of the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run
- Champion of the 153 mile Sparathlon, Hardrock 100, Badwater 135 mile Untlramarathon, & the Miwok 100K
- Record holder for the US all-surface 24-Hour Run of 165.7 miles-6.5 marathons in one day (2010)
- Author of NY Times Best Seller Eat & Run
“We are excited to continue our sponsorship with Scott and are happy to continue to support his unbelievable level of athleticism,” said Jeff Rodgers, owner of Pro-Tec Athletics. “Jurek brings his background in physical therapy and his experience as a professional ultra-marathon runner to the Pro-Tec team.”
Jurek will continue to work closely with Pro-Tec to help educate runners about recovery and performance.
