PrimaLoft named David Newey global manager of partnership marketing, effective immediately.
Joining an experienced marketing team, Newey will be responsible for developing strategic joint marketing programs with North American and Asian brand partners while maintaining oversight of all global marketing partnerships. Newey will report directly to PrimaLoft CEO Mike Joyce.
Newey comes to PrimaLoft with 15 years of sales and brand marketing experience. Most recently, Newey served as the senior marketing manager for the Valspar Corporation, where he developed distribution initiatives and its overall marketing and business strategies. Newey previously founded and directed a full-service marketing, design and video production agency, working with brands including Polarmax.

A former ski racer, Newey is an avid winter athlete and outdoorsman. Newey is a graduate of the University of Vermont and received his masters of business administration from Wake Forest University. He will reside in Saratoga, New York, with his wife and two children.
