PrimaLoft, Inc., the maker of insulations and fabrics, announced multiple personnel changes implemented to provide support necessary for the continuous growth of the brand on an international level.

To drive expansion strategies throughout the significant markets of Europe and Asia:

 
 
  • Jochen Lagemann, formerly managing director – Europe, will now serve as managing director – Europe and Asia. He will continue to supervise the PrimaLoft European headquarters located in Germany.
  • Eileen Berner, based in the corporate headquarters located in Latham, New York, will now manage the development of the PrimaLoft brand in North and South America as sales director – Americas.
  • Chris Humphris, formally sales and marketing territory manager – Northern Europe and UK, will take on the role of sales manager – Europe to support Lagemann and lead the European sales team to ensure the PrimaLoft brand’s values and industry leadership are successfully communicated throughout the region.

In addition to personnel changes of current PrimaLoft employees, the company has invested in additional talent in an effort to solidify its commitment to the Scandinavian region and to the growing market of Asia. Mats Jengard, an outdoor industry veteran, was hired to serve as territory sales manager – Scandinavia. In this role, Jengard is responsible for growing the PrimaLoft brand within Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland and Sweden through sales, marketing and supply chain management.

 
Jengard comes to PrimaLoft with extensive experience in the Scandinavian outdoor market, working on behalf of such brands and retailers as Teva, Stadium, W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. and Norrona. Josef Kovacs joins the PrimaLoft team as customer service representative for Asian brand partners, and will manage all orders and processes for customers in this region. Kovacs’ previous positions with such brands as Marc O´Polo, H.I.S. Sportswear, Point of Sport and W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. have provided him with comprehensive knowledge of customer service processes and ingredient branding, as well as purchasing, sales and distribution strategies.
