The Dimension-Polyant team behind X-Pac® fabrics, a market leader in high-performance fabrics for packs and technical gear, looks forward to introducing X-Pac hyperTEC, the brand’s latest family of advanced performance fabrics developed for demanding applications including mountaineering, climbing, skiing and bikepacking, at Performance Days Munich this October 13-14.

X-Pac hyperTEC fabrics are engineered with three critical design elements: high modulus fibers, advanced reinforcement, and technical constructions, which work together to deliver resilience and strategically optimized load paths. X-Pac’s advanced lamination technology delivers exceptionally stable fabrics at hyper-light weights. Dimension-Polyant’s precision sailcloth-derived lamination techniques refined for technical fabrics provide inherent waterproof performance.

“What sets X-Pac hyperTEC fabrics apart is their high-modulus fiber architecture,” said Kenneth Madsen, president of Dimension-Polyant. “Using advanced fibers allows us to produce laminates that are ultra-light and have a tremendous strength-to-weight-ratio, while maintaining the durability and reliability that X-Pac is known for.”

At Performance Days, the company will showcase its X-Pac® hyperTEC UX10, and X-Pac® hyperTEC UX20 sT. These constructions are made with a refined 100% Ultra-PE face fabric, and the brand’s distinctive Ultra-PE X-PLY® reinforcement. The “sT” designation refers to a single taffeta polyester backing layer added behind the polyester film for enhanced durability and handling characteristics.

X-Pac hyperTEC UX10, offered in translucent white, delivers a balance of durability and lightweight construction, offering versatile performance for packs across a broad range of applications. X-Pac hyperTEC UX20 sT, offered in black, is engineered for maximum strength and load-bearing performance, excelling in high-stress applications where structural integrity is critical, without prioritizing long-term abrasion durability. While X-Pac hyperTEC UX10 features a translucent appearance, the addition of the sT backing layer in X-Pac hyperTEC UX20 sT creates a more opaque look while retaining the lightweight performance benefits that are central to the hyperTEC platform.

“We’ve had extremely positive brand reaction to our X-Pac hyperTEC series,” said Yann Jaquet, X-Pac Sales Manager. “They resonate with the story that comes with the fabric, which helps them develop a better connection with their consumers. We are proud to have Moga Bags, known for its bikepacking bags based in Belgium, as one of our first brand partners to launch products made with X-Pac hyperTEC fabric, and we are looking forward to announcing additional brand collaborations soon.”

The company will also highlight its X-Pac RX30, a next-generation three-layer laminate designed for balanced performance in both outdoor and urban environments at the show.

Constructed entirely from 100% recycled materials, X-Pac RX30 combines a post-consumer polyester face fabric made from recycled PET bottles with the brand’s distinctive recycled X-PLY fiber reinforcement for added strength, flexibility, and waterproof performance. A lightweight recycled polyester film backing gives the fabric a sleek, technical aesthetic suited to both the trail and the city. Like all new X-Pac materials, it’s finished with a high-performing, non-fluorinated DWR coating.

X-Pac RX30 is available in multiple colors including black, white, slate, cayenne, coyote brown, evergreen, ocean blue, alpenglow, bluebell, goldenrod, and plum.

The X-Pac Performance Days booth, M16, will feature finished packs made with featured X-Pac® hyperTEC, X-Pac RX30, along with its most popular VX21 fabrics.
