Designed for adventurers who want reliable performance without complexity, the Rigel SZ easily switches between refrigerator and freezer functionality, with precise temperature control from 68°F down to -4°F. Built-in Toshiba compressor technology delivers fast, reliable and quiet cooling. In laboratory testing, the unit cooled from 89°F to 32°F in just 25 minutes*. A digital temperature controller makes it easy to set the ideal temperature for whatever you’re storing.
The Rigel SZ features a rugged aesthetic, with a black and olive green design made to complement everything from a vehicle setup to a weekend at camp. The new single-zone configuration brings the performance and refined design of the Rigel family to a more accessible price point, with the 35-liter model available for $550 and the 45-liter model available for $650.

The 35-liter Rigel SZ can accommodate up to 52 12-ounce cans or 22 pints of ice cream, making it well suited for weekend trips and groups of two to three people. The 45-liter model accommodates up to 63 12-ounce cans or 27 pints of ice cream, offering additional capacity for longer trips and families.
