Therm-a-Rest, the manufacturer of outdoor sleeping gear for more than 50 years, is introducing the next generation of its NeoAir XLite sleeping pad for Spring 2023, the NeoAir XTherm NXT and a down Honcho Poncho.

“Our 2023 introductions result from an initiative—less is truly more. With less weight, bulk, noise, and environmental impact, we drastically improved our highest rated products, equipping campers for an even more comfortable night under the stars,” said Kalon Pilmanis, vice president of product Cascade Designs, the parent company of Therm-a-Rest.

The NeoAir XLite NXT features ThermaCapture technology integrated into the Triangular Core Matrix that is six times quieter than the current pad and three inches thick, a half-inch thicker than the existing pad. With a 4.5 R-value, 30D Ripstop Nylon, weighs 12.5 ounces (regular) and packs down as small as a one-liter water bottle.

Built for extreme cold-weather pursuits, the NeoAir XTherm NXT sleeping pad is lighter, warmer and more comfortable than the current XTherm. The five-layer ThermaCapture technology, integrated into the Triangular Core Matrix, offers the best warmth-to-weight ratio. The ultralight pad weighs15.5 ounces (1.5 ounces lighter than the current XTherm) and is 7.3 R-value (.4 warmer than the current pad). At 3 inches thick (.5 inches thicker than the current pad), the XTherm NXT enhances comfort while improving lightweight performance.

The Honcho Poncho Down features updated tailoring for a refined fit, including an anorak style front zipper, dedicated arm holes and a three-panel hood. The 650-fill Nikwax Hydrophobic Down is water-resistant, dries three times faster than alternatives, and the 100 percent recycled nylon shell features a water-resistant DWR coating.

The NeoAir XLite NXT, NeoAir XTherm NXT and Honcho Poncho Down (regular) will debut in spring 2023. For more product information, go here
