Skratch Labs announces the release of a new product line, Sport Crispy Rice Cakes offering a real food energy source for athletes. The product is made with brown rice, wild rice, red rice, and quinoa.

“Rice as the first ingredient sets these light, puffed treats apart from other products on the market,” said founder, Dr. Allen Lim.

A blend of complex and simple carbohydrates, one rice cake provides 180 calories of steady energy, “enough for one hour of activity for most athletes.”

They are also made with non-GMO ingredients and are allergen friendly—gluten-free, peanut-free, dairy-free, and gelatin-free.

Available in Spring 2021, the rice cakes come in three flavors: Mallow, Chocolate & Mallow and Strawberry & Mallow. They will be sold at retail in individual 45g bars or in an 8-pack caddy.
