January 15, 2026Harnessing a powerful suite of new fabric technologies, Peak Performance continues its legacy of technical innovation and functional design with its newest on-piste outerwear line. The Whitelight range includes the insulated APX Jacket and Insulated Pants for both men and women. It’s rooted in the same Scandinavian heritage and progressive design philosophy that makes Peak Performance’s freeride collections the go-tos for top-class backcountry riders.

Where Whitelight truly shines, though, is in the technical fabric department: the collection is constructed from a trio of future-thinking performance materials and technologies for a full-bore day on the greens, blues, or blacks.

Here’s what you need to know about the collection’s cutting-edge material tech:

  • Breathable, comfortable protection in both the jacket and pants is provided by Peak Performance’s Hipe standard – a PFAS-free hydrophobic PU membrane that also brings four-way stretch to the party.
  • Patches of Solarcore foam, which leverages the thermal performance properties of NASA’s Aerogel innovation, take care of bulk-free insulation.
  • Graphene – the strongest material ever measured under a microscope – rounds off the trio of futuristic fabrics in the collection. This carbon-based transparent layer of fibres is extremely thermally conductive and is used in the jacket’s lining to ensure even distribution of the heat, be it during day-to-day mountain activities or through bitter blizzard-wracked chairlift trips.

As ever, functional details haven’t been overlooked, with features such as a ski pass pocket, Recco reflector technology, snow skirt, thumb loops, under-arm vents, and Peak Performance’s gold-standard helmet-compatible hood design incorporated into the APX Jacket to help max out mountain time. In the pants, you’ll find leg ventilation, snow gaiters, body-mapped stretch lining, Recco tech, and pockets for stashing on-snow essentials.
