Denver, Colorado — September 26, 2025 — Notace, an innovative new active footwear brand grounded in the principles of natural movement and performance, proudly announces its official launch with the release of their first product: the Yama T1 trail running shoe. Designed to empower movement in its purest form, Notace enters the performance footwear market with a bold vision and a trail model that blends technical precision with a grounded, foot-shaped fit.

When years of hands-on run industry expertise and a vision for natural movement come together, a brand like Notace is born. With the goal of crafting footwear that fuels how we move, Notace created models stripped of the unnecessary and engineered for feel – because when nothing gets in the way, everything becomes possible.

“We saw a gap in the market for footwear that truly honors natural movement,” says Notace founder, Cedric Scotto. “With Notace, our vision is to create shoes that support the way the body was meant to move, while embracing the Japanese approach to design and detail that has inspired our development process. We prioritize simplicity, purpose, and precision and create footwear that seamlessly blends performance with intentional design.”

With a core belief that less is more and purpose beats noise – it was important to the brand to launch with a shoe built to seek freedom on the trails. The Yama T1 is a versatile trail shoe built to move with you wherever the trail leads. Whether you’re running, hiking or simply exploring, the Yama T1 is the only trail shoe you need for all-day comfort and traction on the trails.

Notace’s Yama T1 footshape toebox encourages natural toe splay for improved stability and powerful toe-off with each step. A neutral heel-to-toe platform supports natural gait mechanics and healthy posture, as well as an engineered eTPU midsole that delivers an ideal balance of flexibility, cushioning and ground feel. The 3mm lugs are angled in three different directions for unparalleled traction and grip. Including forward-facing lugs in the heel to enhance braking on descents, rear-angled lugs at the forefoot to boost traction on climbs and neutral midfoot lugs to provide balance on uneven terrain.

The Yama T1 features 15mm of stack height, weighs 7.5 oz (men’s) or 6.2 oz (women’s) in three colorways.
