August, 19 2026 – Dixon, CA – Kuiu, a leader in high-performance hunting gear and apparel, introduces the all-new Proximity Bib to its Proximity line, purpose-built for whitetail hunters facing cold to frigid conditions. Combining industry-leading technologies, the Proximity Bib is engineered to keep hunters concealed during close-encounter situations while staying warm through the harshest part of the season.
Using proprietary technology, the ultra-quiet Proximity pairs a low-sheen brushed fabric with a windproof SynthaCell foam coating for increased protection and warmth retention. Developed from the ground up for stand hunting in cold to frigid conditions, Proximity features full-length leg zippers for easy on/off and venting, plus dual-entry cargo pockets for quick access to a phone and other accessories. Leveraging body-mapped 3DeFX+ insulation, the bib strategically places heavier insulation in more vulnerable areas and lighter insulation where extra breathability is needed.
The outer layer comfortably layers over an insulating base layer, while remaining trim enough to wear under a safety harness and fit over or under knee-height rubber boots.

Proximity is built with a 100 percent polyester knit brushed-face outer at 160 g/m², a SynthaCell windproof bonded coating, Toray 3DeFX+ body-mapped insulation at 90/60 g, and a 100% polyester knit liner at 97 g/m², with antimicrobial odor resistance and quiet-pull YKK zippers throughout.
Additional features include Sherpa fleece-lined upper hand warmer pockets, stretch side paneling for unrestricted mobility, zippered dual-compartment cargo pockets with gusseted volume and magnetic closures, fully adjustable removable suspenders, a reinforced cuff with interior extension, and silent snap cuff closures.
