Hobie announces the launch of its Mirage iTrek Series, a collection of inflatable pedal kayaks and its Mirage iEclipse inflatable stand-up pedalboard.

With four new inflatable pedal-driven kayaks, each featuring Hobie’s MirageDrive GT with Glide Technology and Kick-Up Fins, the iTrek series boasts agility, speed and responsiveness on the water with transportability. The series includes:
Mirage iTrek 9 Ultralight, Hobie’s lightest, transportable and maneuverable pedal kayak, offers a fitted hull weight of 20 pounds and doubles as a standup paddle platform when removing the mesh seat and Mirage pedal drive and using the included SUP paddle.
Mirage iTrek 11, the “workhorse of the series”, features an inflatable drop stitch hull with triple chamber construction, weighing under 30 pounds fully fitted.

In addition to its latest kayak models, Hobie announced its inflatable Mirage Fiesta with four seats that can be positioned to face one another and includes a SUP paddle and two MirageDrives—with the ability to add two more.

Mirage iEclipse is the inflatable version of Hobie’s stand up pedalboard with the advantages of the MirageDrive pedal system with a versatile stand-up platform. Comes complete with a two-piece handlebar and an intuitive steering system that turns quickly with a push or pull of the lever.

Hobie’s Mirage iTrek products include a high-pressure hand pump, high-volume electric pump, bag suitable for travel or storage, repair kit, adjustable nano-mesh aluminum seats with removable cup holders, and MirageDrives with Glide Technology and Kick-Up Fins.
