Sweden’s Polygiene Group has appointed Dr. Sandrine Garnier as its new chief executive officer, effective no later than December 31, 2025. She succeeds Ulrika Björk, who is leaving the role after eight years with the company.
Garnier brings over 20 years of international experience in speciality chemicals, functional materials and sustainability technologies to the role. She has previously served as CEO of Floreon Technology, Ltd., and as managing director of Addmaster UK, Ltd., where she played a key role in the company’s development and later its integration into Polygiene Group.
Polygiene said Garnier has “a strong commercial focus and has a proven track record in driving profitable growth in global B2B operations.”
“We are very pleased to welcome Sandrine back to Polygiene Group. Her deep technical and commercial expertise, combined with clear and confident leadership, makes her well-suited to lead the company into its next commercial phase with several new product launches ahead,” said the company’s Board Chairman, Jonas Wollin.
The Board also thanked Björk for her contributions and commitment to developing Polygiene Group for almost a decade. Björk will remain in the organization for six months to ensure a smooth transition.
