Polartec, LLC has hired Colin True as account manager for the Southwestern US territory. Concurrently, True has been selected as a 40 Under 40 award recipient by Sporting Goods Business (SGB) magazine, which recognizes young leaders in the sporting goods industry.
True comes to Polartec from GU Energy Labs, where he assembled and managed a team of 23 US-based independent sales agencies to grow the GU brand within multiple channels of distribution. At Polartec, True will be based out of his home in Park City and will service Polartec partner brands in Utah and Southern California including Patagonia and Black Diamond Equipment.
