Polartec hired Steve Cuthbert as the Director of Sales,
North America. Cuthbert arrives with particularly unique qualifications having
worked as an Account Manager for Malden Mills from 1997 to 2004. Most recently
he was the National Sales Manager for Primalofts Yarn and Fabrics Group.
Jim Allen, former Director of Sales
who will continue as Sales Manager for the Western Region and advisor to
Cuthbert, stated “As I contemplated reducing my work and travel schedule and
looking for a successor, Steve Cuthbert was a natural choice. He knows our
product line and is well respected within the industry. I look forward to
working closely with him in the coming years.”
Steve Cuthbert noted,
“Joining Polartec, LLC feels like my career is coming full circle. I have always
been a strong advocate for the Polartec® brand and I am looking forward to
playing a role in its future growth.”
Steve Cuthbert has a Masters in
Textile Technology from ITT and a BS in Textile Management and Marketing from
Philadelphia University. He is relocating to New Jersey with his wife and two
children and will work from Polartec, LLCs Manhattan offices.
