Polartec, LLC appointed Doug Kelliher to VP of product management. In this new role, Kelliher will be responsible for leading Polartec’s product strategy across all categories and business channels including outdoor, fitness, upholstery, military, work wear and medical.

Kelliher joins Polartec with over 20 years of product management experience, most recently at Velcro Industries where he served as business leader for its outdoor and hardware product lines. This announcement follows the appointment of Jim Zeiba to VP of advanced business concepts and business development, and the appointment of Allison Spahr to VP of global design.

“Hiring Doug rounds out a significant investment in our product leadership team,” says Gary Smith, Polartec CEO. “This reinforces our position as the global leader of innovative textile solutions and the partner of choice to product-centric brands. This team will work closely with our customers to solve problems, capitalize on development opportunities and ensure differentiation in the marketplace.”
