Point6, manufacturer of merino wool socks, has hired Terry Fisher to lead the company’s domestic sales team. Fisher is based in Southern California where he led his own sales agency, Fisher Sales Inc., for 26 years. He has also managed sales and operations for several leading brands including Bolle, Quicksilver/Roxy and most recently GFH Skateboards. In addition, Fisher sits on several boards including the Western Winter Sports Recreation Association on which he has served for fifteen years.

The move is intended to support the company’s fast growing US retailer base and provide a leader with multi-level experience as the company transitions from a start-up to a leader in the outdoor merino market.

“Terry’s background in the ski, active and outdoor markets and the variety of roles he has held in both sales and operations give him a unique and valuable perspective,” said Peter Duke, CEO and co-founder of Point6.

“The Point6 brand is quickly becoming the go-to merino wool sock for performance, fit and durability. I am truly excited to become part of this growing brand and plan to do my part to take the company to the next level and bring a quick turning category to our retailers,” Fisher remarked.

Point6 has also hired several new sales agencies over the last six months to boost sales in key territories including: Brad Decker and Associates in the Southeast United States; Tokul Creek Marketing, led by Paul Dukich, in the Northwest; and Kevin Streeter who has taken over the North Central region.

Betsy Seabert, international sales and marketing director for Point6, will continue to oversee international sales.
