PlayCore Holdings, Inc. of Chattanooga, TN has acquired Everlast Climbing Industries, Inc. of Mendota Heights, MN. According to the Chatanooga Times Free Press, the acquisition should push PlayCore revenues over $210 million for the year and give it nearly 1,000 employees.
Everlast Climbing, who offers a comprehensive line of climbing wall systems, will continue as an operating division of PlayCore in Mendota Heights. Tim Sudeith will continue to serve as the companys general manager.
