Winmark Corp., the parent of Play It Again Sports, reported revenues in the fourth quarter rose 7.9 percent to $21.1 million from $19.6 million in the same period a year ago.
Net income reached $10.0 million, or $2.69 per share, up 3.9 percent compared to income of $9,6 million, or $2.60, a year ago.
In the full year, revenues were $86.1 million, up 5.9 percent from $81.3 million in 2024. Net income rose 4.3 percent to $41.7 million, or $11.30 per share, from $40.0 million, or $10.89, in 2024.
Winmark’s other resale banners include Plato’s Closet, Once Upon A Child, Style Encore, and Music Go Round.
“During the year, Winmark made significant investments in marketing, technology and innovation. We will continue to build a strong foundation in these areas to support our franchisees and enhance our shared business model,” commented Brett Heffes, chair and chief executive officer.
At December 27, Winmark announced it had 1,378 franchises in operation and over 2,800 available territories. The company has awarded an additional 82 franchises, but they are not open.
