Easy Mile Fitness, the privately held Planet Fitness franchisee, has completed an acquisition from the Bravo Fit Franchise Group, which adds 15 Planet Fitness locations in Oregon and two in Alaska. The 17 locations are throughout Portland, Bend, Medford, and Yakima, Oregon, as well as Anchorage, Alaska.

The new additions make Easy Mile Fitness the largest Planet Fitness franchise operator in Oregon, with Alaska marking the fifth state in which they operate.

“We are thrilled to grow our footprint in the Pacific Northwest with this acquisition,” said Philip Amato, chief operating officer at Easy Mile Fitness. “This acquisition fits with our internal goals and will help us execute our vision of continuing to be a top franchise partner and bring a high-value experience to more communities.”

With this acquisition, Easy Mile Fitness now owns and operates 70 Planet Fitness franchise locations across seven territories, including Alaska, Florida, Georgia, Oregon, South Carolina, Puerto Rico, and Ontario, Canada.

“We started Bravo Fit in 2012 with a single Planet Fitness club in Salem, OR,” said Tanner Halton, co-CEO of Bravo Fit. “Our vision was to bring excellent and affordable fitness to Oregonians. Thirteen years later, we achieved this vision beyond our wildest dreams. We owe this success to a team that has believed in our vision, including the many team members who grew with us personally and professionally along the way.”

Dan Afrasiabi, co-CEO of Bravo Fit, added, “We could not be prouder of our Bravo Fit team for creating a culture dedicated to delivering confidence and competence. Today, we put our Oregon and Alaska operations in the good hands of Easy Mile Fitness, so we can continue our mission with our rapidly growing Planet Fitness reach throughout Australia.”
