Phiten, the maker of the titanium necklaces, announced its partnership with the Dodgers Dream Foundation to support the organization’s charitable efforts and fundraising events, which benefit youth in Los Angeles-area communities.

Phiten was a participating sponsor for the 10th Annual Dodgers Dream Foundation Charity Golf Invitational and provided event support as well as Dodgers branded Titanium S-Type bracelets from Phiten’s MLB Authentic Collection to all attendees of the tournament. This year’s tournament on June 16 at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes included silent and live auctions, an awards banquet and a day of golf. Participants included current Dodger Chad Billingsley, Dodger broadcasters Fernando Valenzuela, Rick Monday and Steve Lyons and Dodger alumni Billy Ashley, Jimmy Campanis, Bobby Castillo, Tommy Davis, Al Downing, Al Ferrara, ‘sweet Lou Johnson, Rudy Law, Tim Leary, Bill Russell, Dave Stewart, Derrel Thomas, Steve Yeager, Bob Welch and Todd Zeile. Track and field Olympic gold medalist Al Joyner was also in attendance.

All proceeds from the charity golf invitational benefited the Dodgers Dream Foundation, which was created in 1998 to provide educational, athletic and recreational opportunities for the youth of the Greater Los Angeles community.

“Phiten has a strong commitment to the MLB, its teams as well as individual players and will continue to support their efforts benefiting youth,” said Joe Furuhata, PR and marketing manager of Phiten USA. “The partnership with the Dodgers Dream Foundation is a natural extension of that support and we look forward to helping the organization long term.

Phiten will also support the 2011 Dodgers Youth Baseball Camp presented by Kaiser Permanente this summer, which features daily instruction by members of the Dodgers Major League coaching staff with special guest appearances by current and former Dodger players. Dodger instructors will work with campers on hitting, fielding, base running, throwing and pitching drills as well as team play, sportsmanship and conditioning.
