Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman on Wednesday named Nike Inc.    chairman and co-founder Phil Knight to the Republican presidential candidate's panel of economic advisers. In a news release issued from Orlando, FL, where Huntsman is campaigning this week, the campaign said Knight will join former U.S. Chamber of Commerce Chairman Tom Bell and Caesars Entertainment Corp. CEO Gary Loveman on a Business Advisory Council chaired by John Mack, the executive chairman of Morgan Stanley.

“I'm proud that we have assembled such a distinguished group of business leaders who understand how to create an environment that promotes growth,” Huntsman said in the news release. “There is no more urgent priority than creating jobs and strengthening our economic core, and these four individuals are invaluable additions to our team.”
