PGA Tour Superstore announced plans to open a new location in St. Petersburg, Florida on June 13. The location will represent its 12th location in the state.
Occupying the former Bealls space, the store is located at the Crosswinds Shopping Center, 2020 66th Street, and measures 29,600 square feet.
PGA Tour Superstore said the location will serve Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties, which have more than 40 courses, including popular public courses such as Mangrove Bay, Twin Brooks and Cypress Links.
“At our new PGA Tour Superstore in St. Petersburg and all of our locations, the difference is our team of knowledgeable professionals providing an unmatched in-store experience,” said Troy Rice, CEO of PGA Tour Superstore. “From lessons and club fittings to repairs and state-of-the-art simulators, we offer golfers access to top-tier expertise, equipment and apparel with the goal of helping golfers of all skill levels improve their game and enjoy the sport even more.”
PGA Tour Superstore currently operates 77 locations. Other Florida venues include Altamonte, Delray Beach, Estero, Jacksonville, Lady Lake, Naples, Orlando, Palm Beach Gardens, Plantation, Sarasota, and Tampa.
Rice, the former CEO of Total Wine & More, who joined PGA Store Superstore as CEO last July, has set a goal to expand to more than 100 locations over the next two years.
