Peter Millar has extended its relationship with PGA Tour professional Harris English through 2016. English is coming off a break out season, with two wins at the 2013 Fedex St. Jude Classic and 2013 OHL Classic at Mayakoba, and currently ranked 38th in the Official World Golf Rankings and 5th in the Fedex Cup standings. Harris has been an avid wearer of the Peter Millar product for years, but officially signed as an Ambassador in 2012.

Raised in Moultrie, GA, the 24-year-old English currently resides in Sea Island, GA. He is only one of four players under the age of 25 with multiple PGA Tour wins (Rory McIlroy, Patrick Reed, Russell Henley). Prior to joining the Tour, English enjoyed a storied amateur career. In 2007, he became the third youngest winner ever of the Georgia State Amateur at the age of 18 and was subsequently named SEC Freshman of the Year the following year. In July 2011, English won the prestigious Southern Amateur at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club, then followed up with a victory that same month at the Nationwide Tour’s Children’s Hospital Invitational, becoming just the third amateur to win on the Web.com Tour. English capped his amateur days as a member of the 2011 United States Walker Cup team.

“Harris is arguably the finest, young player on the PGA Tour. We are proud to have him with Peter Millar; he represents character and style, which are important to our company” says Scott Mahoney, Chairman and CEO of Peter Millar.

“Peter Millar clothing has allowed me to perform at my highest level on the golf course, feeling comfortable and confident. With a wide variety of color and quality fabrications, the Peter Millar brand gives me a unique and personalized style that is perfect match for how I want to look and feel on and off the golf course” says Harris English.
