Pendleton Woolen Mills of Portland, OR has hired former Filson executive Harry Egler to fulfill the role of vice president of direct business channels.


 

During his time with Filson, Egler grew direct business 150 percent over a three year period. Filson was awarded both Multi-Channel Merchant of the Year and Catalog of the Year by Multi-Channel for 2011 and the Gold Award 2012. Prior to Filson, Egler served as global vice president of customer intelligence for Getty Images, where he was responsible for market research and pricing, and held several direct marketing roles at Eddie Bauer and Land's End.

 

 

Pendleton annouced it had also promoted Peter Bishop to the position of vice president merchandising women's apparel, expanded Dean White's responsibilities to include men's merchandising.

Peter Bishop will be leading women's merchandising and design teams as Pendleton looks to evolve women's apparel. Bishop is charged with growing its existing customer base by attracting a new generation of consumers. Previously, Bishop served as Vice President of Direct Business Channels for catalog and ecommerce.

 

 

 

Dean White has been named Vice President Sourcing, Planning and Menswear, adding men's product development and merchandising to his responsibilities. White has over thirty years of experience and brings extensive knowledge in managing worldwide merchandising and sourcing. He has held executive management positions with Paul Frederick, Raymond International and Nordstrom.

 

With six generations of family ownership since 1863, Pendleton celebrated 150 years of weaving fabric in the Pacific Northwest in 2013. The company owns and operates two woolen mills in America, where it designs and produces apparel for men, women, blankets, accessories, home décor and gifts.
