Pearl Izumi announced its official technical apparel sponsorship for the 2014-2015 Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team.
A European based powerhouse team founded by two leading companies, Uplace and cycling leader BMC Switzerland, the Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team boasts a well-established organizational structure, support from big name sponsors, a growing roster of top triathletes, and top-level product partners to outfit their athletes in the most elite, high-end technical gear on the market. As the current technical apparel sponsor for BMC Racing Teams, Pearl Izumi was a natural choice.

The tri kits will utilize Pearl Izumi’s proprietary PRO Aero, PRO Transfer fabrics, as well as patented anatomic sleeve construction for optimal performance and aerodynamics. A longtime leader in aerodynamic fabric, fit and materials, Pearl Izumi is looking forward to working with the international pro tri team to further that innovation.
With straightforward ambitions of becoming the most successful pro team in 2014 and 2015, the Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team roster will be predominately European-focused, with ten top triathletes: Corinne Abraham, Bart Aernouts, Liz Blatchford, Helle Frederiksen, Sofie Goos, Dirk Bockel, Will Clarke, Romain Guillaume, Ronnie Schildknecht and Axel Zeebroek
