Panoptx Eyewear has named Jackson Hogen director of marketing, effective immediately. Hogen has more than 30 years of experience in the wintersports industry, especially in the fields of sales training and strategic planning.

“Jackson has the right experience to take Panoptx to the next level,” said Bob Hall, president of Panoptx. “We experienced a 15% growth in motorsports this year, and are exploring new consumer markets of which the wintersports category is one. Jackson’s expertise in this world will be instrumental for our plans not only in this category, but also within the medical, fishing and boating categories, where our product excels. He is a welcome addition to our team.”

Prior to Panoptx, Hogen was self-employed as a consultant and writer, serving companies in the wintersports, outdoor and technology industries, working with companies including Snow Country Magazine, Ski Magazine and Warren Miller Entertainment. Hogen also developed “Desperate Measures,” a retail sales training program that continues to work with many of America’s top ski retailers, as well as “Planet Hospitality,” a hospitality training program for resorts. Before working on his own, Hogen served as product manager at Salomon North America, and later served as director of marketing at Head Tyrolia Wintersports.
