Palladium appointed Matthew Pantoja as the brand’s senior director of marketing.  Pantoja will be based out of Palladium’s Westlake Village headquarters and will be overseeing the brand’s global direction and development of its seasonal campaigns. He will report to Barney Waters, chief marketing officer of the brand’s parent company K•Swiss Global Brands.

“Matt has a ton of experience in our industry. He knows the market, the retailer landscape, the brands and the consumer. He’ll bring fresh thinking to Palladium as we continue our aggressive global growth,” said Barney Waters, CMO of K•Swiss Global Brands.

Pantoja joins the Palladium team with over a decade of marketing experience in the youth culture and lifestyle space. Most recently, Pantoja served as Head of Entertainment for Reebok, leading the brand’s celebrity and influencer strategy. Prior to Reebok, Pantoja managed the urban business at New Era Cap, where he fostered collaborations with the world’s best streetwear brands, helping to almost double the business during his tenure. Pantoja also worked with youth marketing agency Buzztone managing brands such as Royal Elastics, Coca-Cola and Bacardi and held a three-year stint at Triple Five Soul as marketing director.

“I'm very excited and humbled to be a part of the Palladium Boots family,” said Pantoja. “I am a huge fan of what Barney and the team have accomplished and I look forward to working with this awesome crew in continuing to push the brand forward.”

Born and raised in New York, Pantoja will now reside in California with his fiancée where he will continue to pursue his personal love of art, music and culture. True to Palladium’s brand ethos, Pantoja is also passionate about travel and exploring each destination’s hidden locales.
