Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. total sales for the month ending May 27, 2006 were $85.1 million, an increase of 5.6% over total sales of $80.7 million during the same period last year. Total Company same store sales decreased 2.6% during the same period. By concept, PacSun same-store sales decreased 2.2% and d.e.m.o. same-store sales decreased 5.0% compared to the same four week period last year.
Total sales for the first 17 weeks of fiscal 2006 were $385.0 million, an increase of 6.8% over total sales of $360.6 million during the same period last year. Total Company same store sales decreased 2.0% during the same period. By concept, PacSun same-store sales decreased 2.2% and d.e.m.o. same-store sales decreased 0.2% compared to the same 17 week period last year.
