Pacific Sunwear of California total sales for the four weeks of February, 2005 were $83.1 million, an increase of 22.7% over total sales of $67.7 million for the four weeks of February of fiscal 2004. Company same-store sales increased 10.5% for the comparable four-week period ended Feb. 28, 2005, with PacSun same-store sales up 10.7% and d.e.m.o. same-store sales up 9.1%.

Based upon February sales results, the company is comfortable with the current analyst consensus estimate of $.23 in earnings per share for the first quarter of 2005.
