Outside Television is relocating its studio in an effort to upgrade its production capabilities as the network expands to build greater national distribution. The new studio, EUE Screen Gems Studios in Midtown Manhattan, is a state-of-the-art facility that will meet and fulfill all of the network’s production needs. The move offers greater accessibility to industry advertisers and affords Outside Television the ability to showcase its programming efforts.

The network’s signature morning show “Outside Today” is currently being shot at the new location. The original series showcases adventure-lifestyle, with compelling special features and the latest news about sports specialty gear. Interviews with outside-lifestyle celebrities, such as Jack Johnson, Kelly Slater, and Gretchen Bleiler, are also a highlight of the series, now in its second season.


“Outside Today” will produce seven, one-hour episodes in HD at its Manhattan studio. The new episodes will be televised beginning May 1. Co-hosted by NYC resident Ethan Zohn, winner of CBS’s Survivor: Africa, and Julia Dimon, who has traveled around the world four times, to over 80 countries in six continents, take viewers inside the world of Outside.


“Outside Today” is televised on weekday mornings at 7am. Among the more popular features in the series are Weekend Escapes, Best Places to Work, Summer Gear, and Health & Fitness.
