Outdoor Sports Marketing (OSM), based in Greenville, SC, hired industry veterans Gaston Farmer and Wendy Stanley as territory reps while appointing Joshua Gibbs as footwear channel lead.

Farmer has over a decade of experience in the outdoor industry, starting his career at Rock/Creek Outfitters and later working as a field service rep at OSM. Most recently, he served as conservation project manager at The Land Trust for Tennessee. Prior to that, he was the community engagement coordinator at Lula Lake Land Trust.

OSM said, “Gaston has a background focused on retail management and brand support. His passion for connecting people with the outdoors is matched by his deep knowledge of backcountry pursuits and client management, skills that have shaped his work in both the outdoor retail and land conservation sectors.”

Stanley comes to OSM with over 20 years of experience in retail, brand and agency management within the outdoor industry, most recently serving as dealer and customer service manager at Oboz Footwear. Stanley also worked for Adventure Marketing Group, Inc., Walkabout Outfitter, Title 9, and REI.

OSM said, “Wendy’s career has been marked by a unique ability to connect customers, retailers, and brands, having worked in various roles from retail management to buyer and sales rep coordinator. Notable achievements include being recognized with the Grassroots Outdoor Alliance ‘Rolling Rack’ Rep of the Year Award in 2018 and leading customer service and DEI initiatives at Oboz Footwear.”

Gibbs has nearly 30 years of experience in the outdoor, footwear, snowsports, and hunting industries. OSM said, “His unique background blends retail management, brand development and omni-channel integration across diverse markets including North America, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC.”
