Retailers will have access to the latest products and development teams from 150 outdoor brands at this year's Outdoor Retailer Open Air Demo(OAD), which will take place Aug. 1 at Jordanelle Reservoir.

The latest equipment across the outdoor spectrum including fly fishing, GPS/geocaching, paddlesports, SUP and trail running will be on display and available for testing in the heart of Utah's picturesque mountain settings.

“The touchy-feely, that's what you want,” said Wayne Bair of Search Gear from San Diego, Calif. “Even if a product I see here [at Open Air Demo] doesn't fit into my niche or I don't carry it; I can try it and tell other people about it.”

In addition to offering hundreds of demo opportunities, OAD exhibitors are hosting a number of events throughout the day (each offering prizes and/or raffles) to highlight products and the outdoor culture consumers are looking to tap into:

  • Casting Competition, sponsored by Redington
