Outdoor Research is moving its headquarters to a smaller space in West Seattle, WA, while also relocating its flagship to a more central location in the city center.
The new headquarters it at 1315 Harbor Ave SW in the Denali building moving from 2203 1st Avenue South in Seattle’s SoDo district. Outdoor Research’s flagship store, on the ground floor of its corporate headquarters, closed earlier this year in preparation for the move.
In brief, OR posted the following announcement to its website:
…”Following a recent facility assessment of our building, leadership decided to accelerate our relocation timeline to prioritize our team’s immediate environment and workplace experience. The new West Seattle facility offers improved infrastructure for our workforce and a location deeply connected to the Pacific Northwest outdoor lifestyle. Additionally, Outdoor Research will relocate its Seattle flagship retail store to a more central, high-visibility location in the city center. Stay tuned for updates as we finalize the future home of our Seattle retail location.”
