Otis Technology announced three recent promotions within the sales and marketing teams. Francis Devlin has been promoted to vice president of business development, Tom Knudtson to director of commercial sales and Heather Pleskach to director of marketing.

Devlin joined Otis in 2011 as a key account manager where he was quickly promoted to national sales manager. In 2015, Devlin was promoted to director of commercial sales, where he oversaw a team of regional sales managers. Frank has been instrumental in the company’s commercial sales growth, and in his new role as vice president of business development he will be responsible for cultivating relationships and developing new opportunities for the organization.

Knudtson has been with Otis Technology for four years as a sales manager, responsible for the Central U.S. region. He brought with him over thirty years of experience in sales and product development in the shooting sports industry and his extensive knowledge quickly became apparent. He has demonstrated excellence in all market channels in the shooting sports industry. In his new role as director of commercial sales, he will be responsible for driving the sales strategy for the sporting goods side of the business.

Heather (Bennett) Pleskach joined Otis in 2008 as a marketing associate. Over the last decade, she has held ever-increasing roles within the marketing department including marketing manager and most recently associate director of marketing. In her new role as director of marketing, she will continue to drive the marketing strategy for the brand and will also oversee the marketing, graphics and customer service/inside sales teams. She sits on the board for the Women’s Outdoor Media Association and in 2017 she was named one of NNY Business magazine’s Top 20 Under 40.

“We are very excited about Frank, Tom and Heather’s new roles and I am confident they will continue to elevate the Otis brand in their sales and marketing efforts,” stated Larry Williams, Otis Technology’s chief executive officer. He continues, “Their leadership has helped position Otis as a premium American brand in the gun maintenance sector. We have a fantastic team and I look forward to seeing their continued successes in their new roles. Their strategic thinking will be instrumental in the future growth of our company.”
