ORC Industries announced the purchase of Redfeather Snowshoes as its first acquisition in the outdoor recreation market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We are very excited to acquire such a quality brand of American-made recreational products”, explained Todd Bahnub, Redfeather's new General Manager. “Redfeather has a great history of innovative, quality product supported by excellent customer service and support. We are looking forward to building on this strong foundation to increase Redfeather's sales and market share.”
Founded in 1966 with a corporate charter “to advance the independence, productivity, and self-sufficiency of people with disabilities through employment opportunities”, , ORC Industries employs over 800 workers in five factories located in Wisconsin and Texas.
