Outdoor Retailer has partnered with KiddieCorp to offer child day care services and with Camp Barkalot to offer dog day care services for Outdoor Retailer Summer Market attendees this August.
KiddieCorp (www.kiddiecorp.com), which has provided child care in the past to the show, will offer its services during show hours 8:00 am to 6:00 pm for children aged two months to 12 years of age. The day care center will be located at the Energy Solutions Arena that will host new exhibitors in Dressing Room Three on the show floor level and is available to attendees, media and exhibitors for $10 per hour.
The day care center is the same venue used by the Utah Jazz basketball team with games, arts and crafts, and a sleeping area for children. Children are still welcome on the show floor during show hours only. They must have a proper show badge and be accompanied by an adult at all times. For the first time ever, Outdoor Retailer has partnered with award-winning Camp Barkalot (www.campbarkalot.com), an off-site doggie day care service, to provide “doggie day care” during show hours. Camp Barkalot offers pick-up and drop-off services from hotels in downtown Salt Lake City. The cost per dog is $15 a day per dog ($24 for overnight service) with a $10 pick-up fee.
