Due to poor waterfront conditions at Willard Bay State Park, the 2007 Outdoor Retailer Open Air
Demo will relocate upstream to Pineview Reservoir near Ogden, Utah. The event
dates, August 7-8, 2007, will remain the same.

Outdoor Retailer show management, along with Trade
Association of Paddlesports (TAPS) director Michael Pardy, recently
completed a Willard Bay site inspection which
revealed a compromised beachfront, including extremely low water depth, exposed
rocks and soft bottom conditions. According to Willard Bay State Park
officials, the low water level is the result of extended drought conditions.

Given the current environment at
Willard Bay State Park, the decision was made to move Open Air Demo 2007 to
Cemetery Point, a peninsula reaching into the heart of Pineview Reservoir where
the waterfront is currently in excellent condition. Cemetery Point features a
large, clean, sandy beachfront area for use by presenting exhibitors, adjacent
parking, nearby trail access and even a beach volleyball court. All Open Air
Demo events will proceed as planned. Those interested in the Trail Run will
access the beautiful Wheeler Ridge trail via a short shuttle.

“We thank all Open Air Demo exhibitors
and attendees for their patience and understanding during this last-minute
relocation,” said Kenji Haroutunian, show director for Outdoor Retailer.
“Willard Bay has proved to be a great venue over the past two years, but the OR
team is confident that Pineview Reservoir is the best possible substitute for a
wide variety of gear demonstrations and events, especially paddlesports. We
look forward to a great turnout.”
