O'Neill Clothing announced Sasha Hartloff as the new girls sales manager for the swim and activewear categories. Effective immediately, Hartloff will oversee the O'Neill Girls regional sales teams around the U.S. and spearhead distribution efforts across both divisions. She will report to O'Neill's senior VP of sales and marketing, Steve Ward.

Most recently, she served as Key Account Manager for Hurley apparel, accessory and swim divisions. Prior to Hurley, Hartloff spent 15 years at Quiksilver, where she helped launch the Roxy Athletix junior's active line and supported the Raisins Swimwear brand as Director of Sales.  Her new position with O'Neill will leverage her operations expertise, and allow her to assist with sales strategies for other La Jolla Group brands.

One of the first items on Hartloff's agenda is the introduction of the exclusive Spring 2012 swimwear collection from O'Neill's Global Brand Ambassador, Elyse Taylor. Additionally, she will focus on the national retail expansion of O'Neill's Superkini, a new bikini with 200% more grip than a standard bikini.

“Joining the talented team at O'Neill is such a great opportunity and I'm thrilled to be part of this special brand,” said Hartloff. “The O'Neill name is synonymous with innovation and authentic beach lifestyle, which has translated to success over many decades. I can't wait to get started and help support the brand's unique and expanding swim and active lines.”

“We are confident that Sasha will excel in this important leadership role for O'Neill during an exciting time for the brand,” added Steve Ward. “Her previous experience in product launches and account management will be invaluable for sales efforts as we forge ahead with our growing Girls business.”
